SAI
provides survey and design services to state and
national highway projects covering design of
en-route minor and major river bridges, flyovers
and ROB. Since the inception in 1982, SAI has
completed more than 35 highway design projects
measuring 3000 km of length, 25 highway
pre-feasibility and feasibility projects
covering 3500 km of length, 20 highway
construction supervision projects covering 2000
km of length and more than 40 river bridge
designs across the country. SAI has completed
rehabilitation, widening and strengthening of
more than 150 major bridges and 700 minor
bridges. |

Traffic and Transportation |
|
|
|
|
Traffic & Transportation team undertakes various
surveys, data analysis and feasibility study
before commencing the design process. The
surveys regular traffic counts, special counts,
origin-destination surveys, speed volume
studies, turning movement surveys, axle load
surveys, opinion surveys, gate closure surveys,
bridge condition survey. Further scope includes
traffic forecasts, identifying inadequacy &
demand supply gap, design of roads, traffic
junctions & road geometry. |
